National Shortage and Supply Chain Issues for Defibrillators

Australia is witnessing a shortage of Defibrillators due to range of drivers including:

  • The reporting of Ambulance times for service delivery.
  • People moving to regional areas.
  • Shane Warne and other high-profile people passing in 2022.
  • Global Supply chain.

We also see similar patterns around the world and The Federal Drug Authority of America has added automated external defibrillators (AEDs), to its list of medical devices in short supply.

AED’s are expected to be in limited supply for at least the rest of 2022, the FDA said. Back this up with international supply chain issues then you have a perfect storm. MedCart is working with our suppliers to secure stocks as fast as possible.

Presently you may place a pre-order or you can fill out the form and we will let you know when they are back in stock
